The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC) is the regulatory body that governs the regulation of licensed practical nurses in British Columbia (B.C.). Its authority comes from the Health Professions Act, the Nurses (Licensed Practical) Regulation and CLPNBC Bylaws.
Under section 21 (2) of the Health Professions Act, CLPNBC must maintain a register of individuals who are regulated by the College. The Registry helps the public confirm that an individual who is providing licensed practical nursing services in B.C. is registered with CLPNBC. This information is not to be used for any other purpose such as marketing or research.
Although CLPNBC makes every effort to ensure that all of the information on its website is accurate and complete, it cannot guarantee it.
